John J. Trombadore has been practicing law as a trial attorney for more than 35 years. For the past 25 years he has been a partner in the firm of Schachter, Trombadore, Offen, Stanton & Pavics, P.A. He has achieved certifications from the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Civil Trial Attorney, Criminal Trial Attorney and Matrimonial Law Attorney.

Mr. Trombadore has served as Chairman of the Family Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association, as President of the New Jersey Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, as Chairman of the New Jersey Supreme Court Family Practice Committee, Rules Subcommittee, and as Chairman of the District XIII Ethics Committee. He is a Diplomate of The American College of Family Trial Lawyers and a founding member of the Matrimonial Alliance which consists of only those lawyers who have been chosen as amongst the best matrimonial lawyers in the State of New Jersey.

Mr. Trombadore is an accredited Mediator and has served extensively as an Arbitrator in matrimonial matters. He has received the Family Law Section Award for his life-time contributions to the advancement of family law in the State of New Jersey. He has lectured extensively on behalf of the Institute for Continuing Legal Education, both in New Jersey and other states. He is a senior editor of the New Jersey Family Lawyer and is a past member of the Editorial Board of the New Jersey Lawyer, which is the official publication of the New Jersey State Bar Association.
